Farewell, Sr. Marcia!
March 25, 1928 - August 22, 2011

She was a symbol of solidarity in caring for the street children and teenagers prone to abuse and exploitation. Thus the "Dangpanan" project was borne out of this mission - meaning a safe place of refuge.  She had the gift of presence whether emotional or physical in form compounded by the reality that these children and teenagers will need all the comfort and spiritual guidance to reform and rise above poverty.  She was an epitome of simplicity who could speak for the goodness and humility of her Dangpanan project devoid of political correctness.

Sr. Marcia Antigua, we saw a glimpse of your goodness, your spirituality and abandonment of the unceasing desire to help the street children of Cebu, the wounded and weak.  Thank you for giving us an inspiration to aspire and continue the fulfillment of your project.  "God saw all you had made and it was very good".
