BBC Highlights of 2009
January 1, 2010

Greetings!  May the good year bring more blessings and good tidings, whether it was the aughts or the naughts, 2009 is now so O-ver.  And with the end of the year came of course, another opportunity for remembrance of things past.  Throughout this month, the Sinulog is photographically flashing back to the festivities celebrated all over in reverence of the Senor Santo Nino.  We are very proud to partake in this spiritual and festive event.
The year that was… it was almost impossible to describe our sorrow at the loss of homes caused by Typhoon “Ondoy” that hit various cities in Manila, yet through team effort of our fellow Cebuanos, we packed and shipped 28 boxes as our relief aid for the typhoon victims.  In our own little way, our small Visayan corner has always tried to respond to crisis with voluntary service and generous contributions, and we will try to adapt a mobilization effort to continue through various fund raising which for now has been successful through our annual Bisaya Picnic.
As we dig out of the financial crisis, we have been facing with daunting problems in the form of slow activity, however financial crisis will recur and what we can design today will accede to further recognition.  We are exploiting informational advantages which we will be embarking soon – our very own BBC Travel.  We have informally been booking tickets so feel free to contact us even when we are not yet in full swing.  We do have competitive rates to service your travel needs.  Second, we continue to service our patrons with our famous Lechon – Cebu style which is one epicurean delight. Our lechon cooked Cebu style is especially savory and favored by discerning palates.  Furthermore, we will soon embark a technological change to acclimate to the current sophistication of information.  We hope to spawn booms and slowly revert to increased activity in various events such as fiestas, fund raising, sports, and document the Bisaya traveler in us.
To begin, prosperity depends on maintaining a vibrant approach to our goals and what we hope to design today can evolve to our success in the coming year!

Daghang Salamat ug Malipayong  Bag-ong Tuig kaninyong Tanan!
